When ordering a game server from Xtreme Servers, we have given you 3 options to choose from which will help to be more cost efficient.
Per Slot Pricing
You can order as many slots are you need to host your game, there are no limits on RAM usage, therefore you can easily max out your server with the players you have purchased. This can be more cost effective and you are guranteed the resources you need.
RAM Pricing
With this option, you simply order the game server with an allocation of RAM. You can fill the server up to its maximum amount of players that it can handle. This option is more expensive up front, however depending on what MODs are running you could quite easily hit the RAM allowance causing lag if the load is high. The server can be upgraded if more RAM is required.
Developer Pricing
We offer a developer package if you are wanting to play around with MODs or files without impacting a production server, this option has lower pricing due to the lower grade CPUs and caps we have in place. We do not advise using this a live production server.
